We are currently seeking people who have a desire to help children in the Pittsburgh region discover the joys of reading. Our programs are designed to motivate children to read by providing free books and literacy resources to the children and families who need them most. As a volunteer with RIF Pittsburgh, you will gain pride and satisfaction in knowing that you are helping to provide new books and fun reading activities to children who have limited opportunities for owning books.

The benefits of being a volunteer with RIF Pittsburgh are numerous. Not only will we provide you with an orientation and on-going training, we will cover the cost of your criminal and child abuse clearances, which are good for one year, and you will be recognized annually as a valuable RIF volunteer. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization, without you, we would not be able to reach all of the children we currently serve.
