RIF Pittsburgh was honored to be chosen for the JCC Cares service project at the 2025 Maccabi Games. Athletes from all over the world learned about RIF's mission, asked thoughtful questions, and engaged in conversations guided by their coaches. They then designed personalized bookmarks and completed inspirational ad libs to accompany the books they donated - each one a unique message of encouragement for a future leader.
The experience closed with a moment of reflection, inviting athletes to consider the lasting impact of knowledge and community. After the end of an amazing week, we received 1,745 books to share with children across our community! We are so grateful to the athletes, delegations, volunteers, and partners at the JCC and Repair the World who made this experience possible.
