RIF Pittsburgh Talks Mentoring at City Hall
Kyle Fahsel, our Director of Mentoring, and Corey White, one of our Children’s Programming Coordinators, represented RIF Pittsburgh at City Hall last week to celebrate the 27th Anniversary of Take a Father to School Day with Pittsburgh Public Schools. Kyle and Corey, both literacy mentors at Pittsburgh Faison, spoke with a distinguished group of community members that included Mayor Ed Gainey and Pittsburgh Public School School Board President Gene Walker. During the event, Kyle addressed the Pittsburgh City Council to speak about the importance of literacy mentoring and the impact of our mentoring program RIF Everybody Wins!
