RIF Pittsburgh was thrilled to joined our partners at PPS for another Back-to-School event at Acrisure Stadium. As part of the event, students and families could drive through a series of stops, picking up backpacks, pencils, and supplies from partners. At the RIF Pittsburgh stop, kids and families chose from a menu of books to start the school year off with an exciting new read. We are grateful for the help of our PPS volunteers, including Assistant Superintendents Dr. Monica Lamar and Dr. Melissa Pearlman. Altogether, more than 1300 books were selected through this book “Drive-Thru”!
